The Holidays section allows for the recording, monitoring, and management of all official or internal company holidays.
Depending on the industry or the company’s operations, holidays may either be designated as non-working days or require increased staffing levels.
Accurate recording of holidays supports effective scheduling of shifts, leave, and staff reinforcements, while also contributing to a fair distribution of assignments during periods of higher demand, such as festive seasons.
Access:
From the menu, by selecting Holidays, you are taken to the page where all registered holidays for the selected company division and year are displayed.

The holidays grid supports filtering, sorting, and pagination, as described in the “Data Management in Grids” section.
Adding:
You can add holidays to the system in two ways, by clicking Add or Import Holidays.

The Add button allows you to create a new holiday by entering the required details:
Name, Date, Department, as well as whether scheduling will be allowed during that holiday.
Holidays added this way are classified as Custom type.

Alternatively, with the ‘Import Holidays’ button, you can bulk load a country’s official holidays for a given year. Simply select the year, the company division(-s) to load the holidays into, and the Country/State whose official holidays you want to import. Importantly, if you want scheduling to be allowed during holidays, be sure to select the field before clicking save.

Editing & Deletion:
Each holiday can be edited to modify its details or deleted if it is no longer valid. To perform one of these actions, select the desired holiday and click the “Edit” or “Delete” button accordingly.
